Prison Guard Rehired After Playboy Appearance
READING (AP) ―
A prison guard is fully dressed and back on the job after appearing in
Playboy.
Heather Hull, 29, was fired from the Berks County Prison
last year after she appeared in the March issue in a bustier and fake guard
outfit.
The union representing corrections officers asked an
arbitrator in May to reinstate Hull.
She won her job back, but the sometime model said she was disappointed she was
not awarded back pay.
Hull's
base salary is about $41,300 after five years on the job.
"I picked up where I left," she said after
returning to work
Saturday night.
Warden George Wagner confirmed that Hull
has been reinstated but otherwise declined to comment.
Arbitrator Charles Long faulted Hull
for a lack of moral judgment, but concluded that the use of the faux uniform in
the magazine spread did not damage the county's reputation.
