Chuck Love: Why I'm Paris Hilton's Next BFF
Local Man To Compete For Star's Affection
BELLMAWR, N.J. (CBS 3) ―
Move over Nicole Richie! A Bellmawr, New Jersey man could be Paris Hilton's new 'BFF.'
His name is Charles Green, but he is better known as 'Chuck Love.' At three and a half feet tall, he may not seem like a member of Hollywood's A-list, but that won't stop him from stepping into the spotlight.
"I want to show people that I live a normal life and do things just like everyone else," said Green.
As a contestant for MTV.com's 'I Wanna Be Paris' New Best Friend' competition, Chuck has spent the last eight weeks creating videos to show the public why he should be the latest edition to the star's inner circle.
"At first it was kind of a joke, then I started getting real votes and I'm like, wow … I think I really want to do this."
So far, Green has outlasted 85,000 other Paris admirers, raking in over 100,000 votes. In the last week of competition, Chuck Love stands fifth in line for the honor and hopes to land a spot on the upcoming MTV reality series.
"I see myself being famous, driving some Lamborghinis, living in some big mansion in Hollywood hills."
For now, Green entertains crowds as part of 'hirelittlepeople.com' and hopes this experience will help him break free from the type cast role he often feels forced to play.
"Oh it's cute … he's a leprechaun. Oh, he's an elf for Christmas. Oh, look at the little cupid. I want to get to the point where that's chuck love, he's a cool guy," explains Green.
