Dump Truck Involved In I-295 Crash

MOUNT LAUREL (CBS 3) ― An early morning crash involving a dump truck is causing delays on I-295 in Burlington County . 
Police said the dump truck traveling northbound near Route 38 in Mount Laurel struck another vehicle and crossed into the southbound lanes before skidding off the roadway.

At least one person was transported from the scene via a medical helicopter. The extent of their injuries is unknown. 

While traffic is getting by on both sides of the roadway, drivers should expect to see some delays while crews clear the scene.           

The cause of the crash is under investigation.
