Patient Falls From Montgomery Co. Hospital Window
WYNNEWOOD (CBS 3) ―
A rescue was initiated after a patient reportedly fell from a hospital window in Montgomery County early Thursday morning.
Authorities said a patient at Lankenau Hospital in Wynnewood fell one-story from a window at about 8 a.m.
The patient apparently landed on the roof of the ER. Fire crews were called to the scene to perform a high-angle rescue.
The patient reportedly suffered severe lacerations in the fall. They were taken into the Lankenau Emergency Room to be treated.
The incident remains under investigation.
