Arrests Made In Deadly Gas Station Robbery

WESTAMPTON TWP., N.J. (CBS 3) ― Burlington County prosecutors announced a suspect has been arrested in connection with the death of a gas station employee during a robbery over a month ago.

Prosecutor Robert Bernardi said 20-year-old Terrance Clemons of Burlington Township is facing a murder charge in the death of 50-year-old Abdur Rahman.

Upon further investigation, authorities said a second suspect, identified as Jerome L. Fossett, was involved in the armed robbery of a U.S. Gas Station on Route 541 in Westampton Township just before 11:30 a.m. April 14.

Rahman, who was working at the station to raise money for his family overseas, was fatally shot during the robbery.

Both suspects are being held on $750,000 bail.
