Sword Used In Bucks Co. House Robbery

NEW HOPE, Pa. (AP) ― Police in Bucks County say two Philadelphia men armed with a ceremonial sword stole prescription drugs from a home.

Upper Makefield police responding to a robbery call say they stopped a car leaving the neighborhood and found pill bottles belonging to the homeowner—as well as a large sword.

Police say 23-year-old Jonathan Hernandez-Pagan and 28-year-old Luis Amadeo are charged with receiving stolen property and related offenses.

Authorities say the pair used the sword to make a woman direct them to the house. The woman tells police she had just met the men, and mentioned that the home's resident was on a lot of medications.
