Boy Attacked Inside South Philadelphia Home
PHILADELPHIA (CBS 3) ―
Police arrested a Megan's Law offender who allegedly sexually assaulted a boy inside his South Philadelphia home.
Police said the 11-year-old victim was home with his father when his father stepped out for a short time. During that time, the boy heard a knock at the door and answered.
Authorities said the suspect, 29-year-old Calvin Moore, asked the boy if he wanted to make money and then forced his way into the home.
Once inside the house, police said Moore sexually assaulted the boy and fled.
The child's father returned moments later and was informed of the attack and called police.
Upon further investigation, police learned Moore allegedly made contact with the victim earlier in the week asking the boy if he wanted to make money.
Moore is a Megan's Law registrar whose last date of registry was in August.
Moore faces burglary and assault charges.
