SEPTA Strike Day 3
PHILADELPHIA (CBS 3) ―
The SEPTA transit strike has entered day three.
Members of SEPTA's largest union Local 234 remained on the picket lines and rush hour traffic around the city remain gridlocked Thursday as commuters continue to scramble to find alternates means of transportation.
Sources tell CBS 3 Congressman Bob Brady is trying to get talks going again and has helped arrange a meeting between Governor Ed Rendell and representatives of the union. Sources say the meeting will talk place at 4 p.m. today. The Governor spoke with the union by phone Wednesday.
