Philly Parking Meters To Start Taking Plastic
PHILADELPHIA (CBS 3) ―
Drivers will no longer need a pocket full of quarters to park in Philadelphia as the Parking Authority will soon be accepting plastic.
Officials said they are planning to install new multi-space kiosks that will accept debit and credit cards.
Reloadable Smart Cards will also be made available.
The new payment methods are expected to go into effect in July.
