Suspect Arrested In Delaware Motel Robbery

Gilbert Deleon, 27, is facing charges in the June 5 robbery of a Super 8 Motel in Milford, Delaware.

Delaware State Police said one suspect is in custody and another remains at large after a robbery at a Kent County motel.
Gilbert Deleon, 27, is facing charges of robbery, conspiracy and related offenses in connection with a robbery at the Super 8 Motel on Bay Road near Milford on June 5.
Deleon and a second suspect, 41-year-old Fredrick Daniels, allegedly forced their way into the room of a 25-year-old male who lived at the hotel at about 4 p.m. One suspect apparently dropped a television on the victim repeatedly as the other ransacked the room.
Both suspects fled with an undisclosed amount of cash. The victim refused medical treatment for his injuries.
Deleon was arrested at the Sussex Correctional Facility. He was apparently on work release the day of the robbery.
