Area Soldier Killed Fighting In Iraq

BRYN ATHYN, Pa. (CBS 3) ― A local soldier and volunteer firefighter was killed by an improvised explosive device while fighting in Iraq.

Tristan Smith, 23, of Bryn Athyn was killed Sunday by an improvised explosion device.

Flags were flown at half-staff at the Bryn Athyn Fire Company Monday evening, where he served since he was 16.
