Bail Revoked For Deadly Hit-Run Suspect

MEDIA, Pa. (CBS 3) ― A judge has revoked bail for a suspect who was allegedly caught violating terms of his house arrest following a deadly hit and run in Delaware County.

Lemuel Payne, 26, was placed under house arrest while awaiting trial in connection with a hit and run crash on Chester Pike that took the life of 16-year-old Faith Sinclair on August 3, 2008.

Detectives received a tip Payne slipped out Saturday night to go dancing at a Center City nightclub. Officers apprehended the suspect and transferred him to a Delaware County jail cell.

A judge ruled Thursday that Payne will be held until his May trial.
