John Runyan Considering Bid For N.J. Congress

CHERRY HILL (CBS 3) ― Former Philadelphia Eagle star John Runyan is considering a bid for Congress in New Jersey

Runyan said he is "seriously considering" running as a Republican against Democratic Congressman John Adler in South Jersey's 3rd Congressional District race next year.

"Our great country is head in the wrong direction and it's clearer every day that career politicians are incapable of solving the problems we face," Runyan said.

Further information is expected in the coming weeks.

The 3rd District includes Cherry Hill as well as Burlington and Ocean Counties.
