Frost Warning Issued For Parts Of The Region

TRENTON, N.J. (AP) ― There could be frost on the pumpkins in parts of New Jersey. Forecasters say cold air will build across the region.

The National Weather Service has issued a freeze warning for Sussex County from 2 a.m. to 8 a.m. Tuesday.

Forecasters are predicting temperatures in the county will drop to freezing or below overnight.

A frost advisory is in effect for Warren, Morris and western Passaic counties.

The weather service says conditions will be ideal for temperatures to fall into the low and mid 30s overnight.
