Adapted Fire Alarms Available For Hearing Impaired

PHILADELPHIA (CBS 3) ― Temple University is teaming up with the Philadelphia Fire Department to keep special needs families safe with adapted fire alarms.

Aimed at those with hearing disabilities, the three part device is made up of a traditional smoke alarm connected to a strobe light and bed vibrator.
