Murder-Attempted Suicide In East Goshen

East Goshen police have ruled Thursday's double shooting a murder-attempted suicide.

A woman is dead and an elderly man is in the hospital with a gunshot wound in what authorities are calling a murder-attempted suicide.
Police responded to a report of gunfire just before 11a.m. Thursday morning at a home in the 1600 block of Williams Way in East Goshen.
When authorities entered the home, they found a woman and man with gunshot wounds. The woman was pronounced dead at the scene and the man was flown to a local hospital, his condition not known.
While police have not identified the dead woman or the man, records show the home is owned by 51-year-old Donna Bennett, who purchased the home from her father, 89-year-old Donald Lutz.
Neighbors in that block also say that a woman and her elderly father live in the home where the shooting occurred.
