Crime scene investigators descended on Cobbs Creek Park to search for human remains after a gruesome discovery made several weeks ago.
An anthropologist with the medical examiner's office said portions of a human skull were found in the wooded area on February 21st by a Fairmount Park commission worker marking trees to be torn down. A subsequent search of the area turned up teeth, but investigators have not determined if the teeth are of human origin.
Friday investigators returned to the wooded area with police k-9 dogs to search for other body parts that could be buried under the leaves and brush.
Officials said nothing of significance has been found.
The incident remains under investigation.
