On a rainy day at the Jersey Shore you could read a book or see a movie or you could take a trip to an underwater world.
The Atlantic City Aquarium which gives you an up close and personal look under the sea.
You can talk to divers during their underwater shows or pet a shark.
"We have two touch tanks. We have a tropical touch tank with bamboo sharks, marble sharks, some really pretty chocolate chip star fish and sea urchins," said Kristen Divario of the Atlantic City Aquarium.
Getting close to a shark left 5-year-old Eric Beyar very impressed.
"The tiger shark's skin feels rough," he said. "I'm a fish person."
You can even get your hands on a baby sting ray, which may feel a bit slimy.
But if you aren't a fish fan, there are other animals to see, including lizards and pythons.
"I like to call it a zoo-quarium because we have a couple of critters you don't see in the water," Divario said.
The Atlantic City Aquarium is open daily from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and is located at:
