Armored Truck, Police Cruiser Crash Near I-95

PHILADELPHIA (CBS 3) ― A police cruiser and an armored truck were involved in a minor collision near I-95 Thursday morning.

Police said an armored truck reared ended a Philadelphia Police SUV on Island Avenue just off I-95 southbound at about 7 a.m.

An officer was taken to the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania with neck and back pain.

The incident remains under investigation.
