Lane Files Law Suit; CBS 3 Responds

PHILADELPHIA (CBS 3) ― Former CBS 3 anchor Alycia Lane has filed a lawsuit against the station. The suit was filed late Thursday in Philadelphia Common Pleas Court and alleges that the statement, released by KYW-TV after Lane was terminated in January, was defamatory and placed her in a false light.

In response, CBS 3 released this statement:

"We have received a copy of Alycia Lane's complaint against KYW-TV. The station believes the claims are without merit and will defend the case vigorously in court."
