Freak Tanning Salon Accident Injures Delco. Woman

LANSDALE, Pa. (CBS 3) ― A female customer suffered minor injuries during a freak accident at a tanning salon in Montgomery County.

The incident happened at about 7 p.m. at the California Sun Tanning salon located in the 100 block of 151 South Valley Forge Road.

According to police, a customer was inside a standup tanning bed when a light bulb burst. The female was cut by flying glass, but she was not seriously injured and declined medical treatment.

There were no reports of any other injuries.
