The Search Continues For Petrone And Imbo

by Robin Rieger
PHILADELPHIA (CBS 3) ― Danielle Imbo and Richard Petrone were last seen leaving a bar in South Philadelphia in the late evening hours of February 19, 2005.

They were dating at the time, but they have not been seen since that mysterious night. Petrone's vehicle, a 2001 black Dodge Ram pickup truck, is also missing.

A public service announcement for Richard Petrone was featured on CBS 3's 'Without a Trace' on Sunday night.
CBS 3's Robin Reiger sat down with Marge Petrone, Richard's mother, about the unanswered questions that haunt her.

"When I didn't hear from him for 24 hours I knew he wasn't coming back. I knew something terrible happened to him and Danielle," said Marge Petrone.

On August 29th Richard Petrone would have turned 37, but rather than send a birthday card Marge Petrone went through her son's personal belongings. It was the first time she looked at his belongings since he went missing.

"It was the hardest thing. He should be doing that for my things. I shouldn't have been doing that for him, "said Marge.

The Petrone's are grateful that the FBI is now investigating the disappearance of their son because they believe they can reveal what ultimately happened to Richard and Danielle.

"Somebody knows something, and that's what we have to hope for. That they will come forward," said Marge.
