Small Fire Closes Bucks Co. Elementary School

LEVITTOWN, Pa. (CBS 3) ―

The Queen of the Universe Parish Elementary School in Levittown, Bucks County will be closed on Thursday, October 9 due to a small fire on the premises. 

According to officials with the Archdiocese of Philadelphia a small electrical fire was started in a bathroom and did not spread to any of the surrounding rooms in the building.

The intense smell of smoke has forced officials to close the school for a day as a precautionary measure.

The fire did not cause any significant damage to the school.
