The father of a teenager who admitted last year that he
was plotting an attack at Plymouth-Whitemarsh
High School is in jail.
Montgomery County
prosecutors say Frank Cossey violated his probation. He tested positive for
drugs.
First Assistant
District Attorney Kevin Steele says Cossey was sentenced in May to 9 to 23
months of house arrest, electronic monitoring and random drug testing for
firearms violations.
Cossey had attempted to
buy a .22-caliber rifle for his son three years ago without indicating he had a
prior felony conviction. He spent six years in jail for a manslaughter charge
in Oklahoma
in the 1980s.
The boy's mother,
Michele Cossey, is awaiting trial on charges of buying firearms for her son.
