Philly Men In Airport Gun Case Released On Bond

PHILADELPHIA (AP) ― Two men accused of conspiring to get a handgun onto a plane at Philadelphia International Airport have been released on bond.

The FBI says 29-year-old passenger Damien Young was released on $50,000 bond and US Airways customer service agent Roshid Milledge was released on $10,000 bond.

The two men were roommates in Philadelphia and Young was moving to Phoenix. The FBI says Milledge was able to get the bag to the gate without going through security and they switched bags at the gate early Thursday so Young could get the gun on the plane. Another passenger noticed the switch and raised concerns.

Milledge's lawyer, Carina Laguzzi, declined to comment Friday. Young is represented by the federal public defender's office, which by policy does not comment on its clients.
