Newlywed Killed Outside North Phila. Car Wash
PHILADELPHIA (CBS 3) ―
Police are searching for two suspects involved in the fatal shooting of a newlywed outside of a North Philadelphia car wash Monday evening.
The shooting happened outside a car wash located at the intersection of North Broad Street and West Lehigh Avenue.
Police said two suspects shot a 37-year-old male numerous times before fleeing the scene with an unknown amount of cash.
The victim was rushed to Temple University Hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.
Investigators said the victim, an immigrant who was married just one month ago, collected money at the car wash.
