Police are asking for the public's help after receiving new information on the second-year anniversary of missing New Jersey woman, Marianne DeMartin.
DeMartin was reported missing on September 25, 2005 and was last seen outside he home on Sagemore Drive in Marlton, New Jersey on September 23rd.
DeMartin's car was recovered several days later on Evesham road, and police found her blood in the trunk of the car.
Prosecutors initially declared the case a homicide, but DeMartin's family believes she is still alive.
Burlington County prosecutors released a photo from Demartin's computer in a press conference Monday morning hoping that it would reveal more information about her disappearance.
The photo shows a bearded man riding in a kayak that was downloaded on Demartin's computer around the time of her disappearance.
"This was a photograph that was found in the laptop of Ms. Demartin. There is no indication specifically of when it was taken. It's not a date stamped photograph, but it appears that it was downloaded into her laptop within a few weeks of her disappearance. We don't know who this person is. He is not a suspect. He is not a person of interest. We would just like to know who it is, so we can ask him if he was with Marianne DeMartin . We are just looking for help from him," said Burlington County Prosecutor, Robert Benardi.
DeMartin's family have been shown photo; however nobody recognizes the man from the photo.
Police are hoping someone will know the man in the photo and come to them with more information regarding this mystery.
Anyone with information should call the
