Farewell To Fall: Inside Longwood's Autumn Exhibit
PHILADELPHIA (CBS 3) ―
Winter temperatures may have cut the fall season short, but if you're looking to experience your last taste of autumn, look no further than Longwood Gardens.
This weekend marks the final two days of its Autumn Colors Exhibit featuring a Chrysanthemum Festival.
Guests will have the opportunity to see twenty-thousand chrysanthemums in eighty-one varieties.
Longwood Gardens Communication Manager Patricia Evans said, "I think people are used to seeing the garden variety, but these are mums like you've never seen before."
Expect everything from single stem blooms to miniature mums and the largest display, a one-thousand bloom chrysanthemum.
Longwood Gardens is open Saturday and Sunday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. For more information and a list of this weekend's events, click here.
