Hazmat Crews Contain Delaware Co. Gas Spill

HAVERTOWN, Pa. (CBS 3) ― Hazmat crews have called the 'all clear' after a fuel truck spilled 75 gallons of gasoline in Delaware County Thursday.

Fuel flowed on the roadway near Haverford and Wynnewood Roads in Havertown at about 9:30 p.m.

Hazmat crews cleared the scene at about 4 a.m. Friday after several hours cleanup.

Officials said precautions were taken to prevent the gas from flowing into nearby creeks. The cause of the spill remains under investigation.
