Funeral Held For Young Feltonville Crash Victim

PHILADELPHIA (CBS 3) ― The first of four funerals was held Tuesday after a woman and three young children were struck by a car driven by a fleeing robbery suspect in Feltonville last week.

Funeral services were held at Deliverance Evangelistic Church Tuesday morning for 6-year-old Aaliyah Griffin.

At Tuesday's service for Griffin, a large floral arrangement was placed next to her coffin spelling out her nickname, "Pooka."

A viewing for 7-year-old Gina Marie Rosario will be held from 5-9 p.m. Wednesday at the Compagnola Funeral home on 5th and Cayuga Streets. Mourners dressed in white are expected at a funeral mass for the young victim beginning at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at St. Peter's Roman Catholic Church on 5th and Girard.

Latoya Smith, 22 and her 11-month-old daughter Remedy, will be laid to rest Friday.

The alleged driver, 18-year-old Donta Craddock, remains hospitalized after Wednesday's crash.

Police believe Craddock fled in a car after his stepbrother, 20-year-old Ivan Rodriguez, hijacked a motorcycle and drove.

Rodriguez is charged with murder and other crimes. Craddock has yet to be arraigned due to his injuries sustained in the tragic accident.
