Convicted Sex Offender Wanted In Dover

DOVER, Del. (CBS 3) ―

Delaware State Police Sex Offenders unit is asking for the public's assistance in apprehending Delbert D. Sampson, 64, for failing to register as a sex offender.

Investigators have been searching for him without success since his indictment for the offense on September 7, 2006. It is believed that the man accused has been living in the Dover area for the past two weeks.

Sampson was also convicted of forth degree rape in February of 2002.
