Deputies Corral Phila. Domestic Abuse Suspects
PHILADELPHIA (CBS 3) ―
The Philadelphia Sheriff's Office showed their love and support for victims of domestic violence during a Valentine's Day roundup Thursday.
Deputies led an early morning sweep to capture wanted domestic abuse as well as child support offenders.
In 2007, 109 domestic abuse warrants were issued in Philadelphia and surrounding counties. There were 126 warrants issued for those who neglected child-support responsibilities.
A unit of seven men helmed the sweep that began in the Northeast and ended at S. 11th Street.
