1 Dead In Del. Robbery, 2 Suspects At Large
MAGNOLIA, Del. (CBS 3) ―
Delaware State Police are working to identify two men involved in an attempted robbery which left one person dead.
According to police the apparent homicide took place on the 100 block of Jeffery Drive in Magnolia on Friday around 3 in the afternoon.
The victim, age 40, was shot by an unknown Black male while making arrangements with the suspect to purchase a dog.
The unknown male pulled out a gun demanding money and shot the victim in the passenger seat.
The victim was transported to Christiana Hospital where he later died from a single bullet wound.
The victim's name has not yet been released.
Police are looking for another subject who fled the scene at time of the shooting.
