Phillies Fans Set For Game 2

PHILADELPHIA (CBS 3/AP) ― Despite celebrations lasting well into the night after the Phillies 3-2 win over the Dodgers in Game 1 of the NLCS, fans are set to do it all over again Friday.

Screams and chants filled the air as an ocean of red and white flooded out of Citizen's Bank Park following the Phillies victory.

The Phillies win marks the farthest the hometown heroes have made it in the postseason in the past 15 years.

Chris Baker doesn't have to wear his Phillies loyalty on his sleeve—he's got it tattooed on his arm.

Baker laments that the city has not seen a major sports championship in his lifetime, but he and friend Mary Anne Cavanaugh think the Phillies have a good shot at changing that.

The brotherly love is palpable—even some city buses are cheering, their digital route signs blinking "Go Phillies!"

Hundreds of promotional "Fightin' Phils" rally towels and "Phillies Phan" signs were handed out near City Hall on Thursday.

Tourism officials are excited, too. According to the city Commerce Department and Philadelphia Sports Congress, the playoffs could generate up to $20 million in visitor spending and direct municipal tax revenues.

Fans eager for the second game in the National League Championship series can head down to Citizen's Bank Park for a free fan fest starting at 1:30 p.m. Game 2 of the series starts at 4:35 p.m.
