Rutgers University has more incentive to finish an expansion of its football stadium by next year: If it doesn't, Coach Greg Schiano can walk.
The provision in Schiano's 2007 contract had been a secret until university president Richard McCormick told The Star-Ledger of Newark about it.
According to the provision in Schiano's deal, if it's not completed on time, he could leave Rutgers after the 2009 season without paying a $500,000 buyout.
