Lingerie Football's 'Passion' Make Home Debut
TRENTON, N.J. (CBS 3) ―
The lingerie clad ladies of the Philadelphia Passion made their long awaited home debut Friday night in Trenton.
In the second week of the Lingerie Football League's sixth season, the no. 2 ranked Philly Passion brought their special brand of gridiron action to the indoor field at Sovereign Bank Arena.
The Passion quarterback Jackie Danico and running back Tyrah Lusby lead the ladies onto the field against the Miami Caliente.
In their first matchup against with New York, Lusby had five rushing touchdowns and the Passion blew out the Majesty 40 - 6.
Regardless of the level of play, most fans of the lingerie football league just want to see the women.
"I love women! No matter whether they're tackling each other or I'm tackling them," said Pat Dugan or Trenton.
The league's games feature seven on seven, full contact football in an arena much like the one the Philadelphia Soul play in.
