3 On Your Side: Save Money Using Coupon Sites
PHILADELPHIA (CBS 3) ―
In these tight economic times, Your Money Team finds that coupons are back in style. As we help you Survive in '09, 3-On Your Sides Jim Donovan finds more people are skipping the newspaper and finding them somewhere else.
These days, coupon clipping is being replaced more and more by coupon "clicking". With Web sites making it easy to click and save money on just about anything from major department stores, to pet supplies to groceries you buy everyday. Browse the sites for brand you like and print out only the coupons you'll use.
Unlike the conventional way of searching through coupons in the mail or newspaper, savvy shoppers are using sites like couponwinner.com, or promotionalcodes.com to find thousands of discounts.
Lenka Keston, who runs those two particular sites, says, "Our coupons are everything from online to printable coupons to take into the store, so you can actually save more by shopping online than just the everyday Sunday coupons that you use at the regular stores."
Many coupon sites require that you download software to print the coupons. Be sure to read all the find print before doing so.
