Before you head to the supermarket, Your Money team wants to make sure you know where you can find the best prices on the items you're looking for.
3 On Your Side's Jim Donovan checked out this week's specials to help you spot the savings.
That's right. The long holiday weekend is the perfect time to stock up on summer supplies.
Here are some that caught our eye.
Friday at Acme, they're continuing last week's soda special through the holiday weekend.
Buy one variety pack of Frito Lay chips and get 5, 12 packs of select Pepsi products for $5 or you could also choose to buy 5, 6-packs of 24 ounce bottles for $5.
Also at Acme, as long as you buy eight of any of these items, like Keebler Grahams and Chips Deluxe cookies, Eggo's or various Kellogg's cereals, you'll only pay $1.88 each.
Headed to Genuardi's? Starting Friday, look for these super price coupons. A 22 to 30 ounce jar of Hellman's mayonnaise is $1.99, Lays potato chips - $1.69 and buy 2 packs of Oscar Meyer wieners for $1.98. And if you need to stock up on water, 24 packs of Safeway Refresher are 3 for $9.99.
Friday through Monday at Pathmark, they've got some special four day deals, like London broil, just $1.29 a pound. Whole seedless watermelon, $3.88 and Breyers ice cream, $1.88.
Starting Sunday at ShopRite, you can pick up green seedless grapes for just $1.29 a pound, 48 ounce containers of Turkey Hill ice cream are $1.99 with a purchase limit of 2. And a 59 to 64 ounce container of Tropicana pure premium orange juice, just $2.33, limit four per shopper.
