Sakura Sunday, part of "Subaru Cherry Blossom Festival of Greater
Philadelphia", was held at the Horticulture Center in Fairmount Park on
April 5.
The celebration was Philadelphia's own 'hanami,' the Japanese tradition
of revelry beneath the blossoming cherry trees. Participants enjoyed
live music, dance performances, martial arts demonstrations, tea
ceremony presentations, origami and calligraphy workshops, Japanese
food and much more.
