Philadelphia Police Officer Killed In The Line Of Duty

A 24th District Philadelphia Police Sergeant was shot and later died after a robbery at a Bank of America inside a Shop Rite in Port Richmond. A police pursuit ensued and one suspect was shot and later died. The manhunt continues for the other suspects.

A 24th District Police Sergeant and 12-year veteran, 39-year-old Stephen Liczbinski, was ambushed by the fleeing gunmen in the 2600 block of Schiller Street.
