Officer Killed, Another Wounded In N. Philly Shooting

The Philadelphia Police Department is mourning the loss of another comrade gunned down on the streets of the city. A second officer was wounded in the shooting. 30-year-old highway patrolman Officer Patrick McDonald, an eight year veteran of the force, was killed and fellow patrolman Officer Richard Bowes, 35, was wounded during a shooting in North Philadelphia September 23, 2008.
