Philadelphians enjoyed the Hispanic Fiesta at Penn's Landing, Saturday July 12, 2008. The event was founded by Concilio in 1981. It is a two-day showcase of Puerto Rican and Latino culture at Philadelphia's waterfront. Many sat back and enjoyed the cool rhythms and melodious harmonies of mariachis, salsa, merengue, bachata, zamba, cumbia and flamenco. While other enjoyed the culinary arts, dozens of traditional dishes were available.
