A woman whose car crashed more than 50-feet down an embankment was
pulled to safety during a high-angle rescue in Whitemarsh Monday
evening.
Authorities
said the woman's SUV went down an embankment of a concrete quarry in
the 5000 block of Joshua Road at about 4:30 p.m. Dozens of firefighters
and EMS workers used rope and a ladder truck to secure the vehicle and
pull the woman from the wreckage.
