Congressman Castle Tackling Gas Gouging

WILMINGTON (AP) ― Congressman Mike Castle is working on legislation to stop gas price gouging.

Castle is the co-sponsor of a bill that would ban price-gouging on gasoline, diesel, crude oil, home heating oil and bio-fuels. The law would penalize violators.

Castle says he supports increasing Corporate Average Fuel Economy standards for vehicles and further research on alternative fuels and hybrids.

He also says nuclear power needs more support.
