CBS
CBS 3 and The CW Philly 57 will conduct three two-minute "soft" analog shut-off tests tomorrow, Thursday, May 21.
The tests will take place at 7:25 a.m., 12:25 p.m. and 6:25 p.m. as part of a nationwide effort to help viewers learn whether they are prepared for the government-mandated transition to digital television on June 12, 2009.
During the tests, viewers who are not receiving a digital signal will see a full-screen graphic message which will direct them to call the FCC's special toll-free hotline, 1-888-CALL-FCC, for information on how they can prepare for the cessation of analog broadcasting.
CBS 3 (KYW-TV) and The CW Philly 57 (WPSG-TV) are part of CBS Television Stations, a division of CBS Corporation.
