5-Alarm Fire Destroys NE Philadelphia Apartments

An overnight apartment fire displaced dozens of residents and injured at least 19 people. According to officials, the fire broke out at 4:32 Sunday morning. It appears to have started in a second floor unit at the Austin Manor apartments off of Rising Sun and Tyson avenues in the city's Lawncrest section.

Officer Involved In Fatal Port Richmond Shooting

Philadelphia police are investigating a shooting involving an off-duty officer in Port Richmond that left one man dead. According to police, the shooting occurred on the 2600 block of Elkhart Street.
