Philadelphia Police are searching for a suspect in the brutal assault and rape of a woman in early October.
Authorities said a 32-year-old female was severely beaten and raped near the 900 block of E. Ontario Street at about 5:30 a.m. on October 4.
Investigators said the woman was beaten so badly that she suffered several facial fractures and required surgery.
The same suspect is believed to be responsible for two similar incidents in the same area on October 19 and 20. One woman was raped and beaten on Malta Street and the other was raped and beaten on Kensington Avenue.
Investigators said the suspect has either pulled or lured his victims into a dark alley and raped them.
"All three women are beaten about the face and head. All three have been sexually assaulted," Captain John Darby explained.
Police described the suspect as a black male in his late 20s or early 30s, about 5'10" and weighing approximately 230 pounds. He had a light beard and wore glasses.
