Mini Marathoners Take On Philly Fun Run

PHILADELPHIA (CBS 3) ― The Verizon Kids Fun Run was held this morning at the Philadelphia Convention Center, as a family friendly precursor to the Philadelphia Marathon.

Kids and families enjoyed a day of fitness and prizes as they participated in a series of non-competitive races and activities, including face painting, arts and crafts and an obstacle course.

The first 250 kids who ran the race received a t-shirt, a medal, refreshments and other fun goodies.
