Officials Suspend Flu Clinics In Gloucester County
NEW JERSEY (CBS 3) ―
On Saturday, the Gloucester County Department of Health issued a statement saying they had temporarily suspended its Seasonal Flu Clinics.
The Department of Health, which has administered more than 13,000 flu shots to county residents, says they will resume their clinics when an anticipated 12,000 doses arrive.
Despite the seasonal flu clinics being placed on hold, the county will be holding two H1N1 clinics next week, one for pregnant women and one for children ages 5 through 18-years-old with chronic medical conditions.
The Gloucester County Department of Health encourages that children between the ages of 6 months and 5 years see their own Pediatrician for this vaccine. For questions call the Gloucester County Flu Hotline at (856) 218-4141.
