Tractor Trailer Crash Partially Closes I-495

EDGEMOOR (CBS 3) ― A crash involving a tractor trailer has closed I-495 at Edgemoor Road in Delaware.

Chopper 3 HD was over I-495 after reports of a collision involving a flatbed semi and a Nissan at about 1:30 p.m. The tractor trailer was apparently hauling bales of recycled paper, which spilled along the roadway.

The southbound lanes of I-495 have been shut down between I-95 and Edgemoor Road while crews clear the scene.

One minor injury has been reported. Further details were not immediately available.
